Bob Jones
Bob (Robert Dalton Jones, Sr.) attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was a WONN deejay in 1963-64. His air shift was afternoon drive from 4 to 7 PM.
Upon leaving Lakeland, he went on to become a top jock for WKIX and other stations in the Raleigh, NC area. He was an extremely good on-air man and production talent, and turned out some memorable promos and commercials for the stations he worked for.
Bob passed away November 25, 2018 in Pinehurst, NC at the age of 76.
