Lenn Spears

Lenn was a journalist and retired Baptist minister who had also retired from the U.S. Air Force and service with the Marine Corps.

In the late 1950's, the native Floridian worked in radio with 1380 WTSP in St. Petersburg. During an eight-year stay with Lakeland's WONN from 1980 to 1988, he did on-air work and news. His last Polk County radio stint was in 1992 for WHNR in Winter Haven before leaving Florida and moving to Little Rock, AR.

Lenn passed away there in 1996 at the age of 66.
