WDIZ - A History
WDIZ AM-1320 Venice – On June 29, 2020 WDDV AM-1320 in Venice, FL changed its call letters to WDIZ with studios headquartered in the Sarasota iHeartMedia cluster at 1779 Independence Boulevard. Its transmitter, located at the tower site at 282 North Auburn Road in Venice, powers the station with 5kw days and 1kw at night.
WDIZ calls itself Oldies 1320 Venice’s Real Oldies and uses iHeartMedia’s Real Oldies network that focuses mainly on oldies from the 1960’s and 1970’s.
