WCIE - A History

WCIE-FM 91.5 New Port Richey – Radio Training Network’s WLPJ-FM changed its calls to WCIE ("Where Christ Is Everything") in 2009. The non-commercial facility, originally a satellite station of Sarasota’s 88.1 The Joy FM WJIS, is now The Joy FM's flagship station.

WCIE began its contemporary Christian format with a directional pattern and 16,500 watts, but upgraded its signal to 75 kilowatts in November 2013. With the added power, WCIE's signal blankets the Tampa Bay area from its transmitter site at 6214 Springer Drive in Port Richey.
