Orlando Davis
Orlando has led Rhythmic Top 40 WiLD 94.1 since its launch in 1998 on 98.7. A Gary, Indiana native and lover of music, he's the man in the lead chair at the top rated station. Known throughout the industry as one of the leading program directors and air personalities in the country, he hits the air at 6am daily with ‘Orlando and The Freak Show.’
Davis went from Catholic school to public school to Florida A&M University and Florida State University. An internship with a Tallahassee Top 40 station put him on a path to radio, where he maneuvered through various formats, including alternative rock, dance, and urban.
He holds numerous awards, like the Radio Music Awards Personality of the Year, Billboard's Program Director of the Year, and Street Information Network’s Program Director of the Year, as well as several others, and he’s an honorary Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy. His commitment to the Tampa Bay community is evident each year by his participation in “Orlando's Toy Drive” event and his relentless effort to raise bikes, toys and other gifts for The Children's Home and Tampa Bay’s orphanage program.
