Randy Price

Prior to his arrival in Tampa Bay, Randy had worked with WITL in Lansing, Michigan (his hometown), Wheeling’s WWVA, WDEE and WCXI Detroit, WHK in Cleveland, Chicago's WJEZ, and the CBN Radio Network, headquartered in Ithica, New York.

From 1982 until the time he left in 2010, he was a familiar voice on WQYK as a co-host on the afternoon show and later, mornings, and privileged to receive the 2008 CMA “Major Market Broadcast Personality of the Year" award.

In 2012, the radio veteran joined Winter Haven/Lakeland’s 97 Country WPCV and to host Sunday night’s “Country Classics” show, but left in late 2014 to find work closer to where he lived. He wound up returning to WQYK in 2015 and staying for a couple years before leaving for 103.9 The Boot WWJB in Brooksville.

Randy underwent brain surgery in 2019 and, after much rest recovering, returned to WWJB and today (2020) does the 6-10AM morning show.
