Brock Whaley
Brock began his radio career at the University of South Florida’s WUSF-FM in 1971 and is credited as the creator of the station’s legendary “Underground Railroad” show. Other Tampa Bay stations he worked for include WFSO (1973-1975 and 1976-1977), WQSR (1975-1976 and 1978), and WQXM (1978).
After leaving the bay area, he pulled a stint with WORJ/Orlando (1979), and then it was off to Denver, Chicago for a number of years, Honolulu for several decades, and seven years in Atlanta. All in radio.
Today (2013), Brock lives and works in Ireland, and is still in the broadcasting business.
