Mel Tinney

Mel was a Tampa Bay deejay who worked at WILZ in St. Petersburg Beach and “The Boss of the Bay” WCWR-Dunedin in the 1960’s and early 1970’s. During his stay at WCWR he was also Station Manager in its final years as an oldies outlet. On the air he went by the name of Christopher Wayne.  

Although highly talented, Mel got out of the radio business many years ago and became a sales, marketing, and business development executive with Fortune 100® companies.
