John Anthony
Originally from Elizabeth, NJ, John (John Zonak) worked at WOR-FM in New York before coming to Tampa Bay as PD and pulling mid-days at oldies WCWR in 1969. When he left in 1970 he moved to WKKE in Ashville, NC and was replaced by Scott Owens.
John left radio many years ago and was living in Maryland working in the computer business at the time of his death in 1999.
