Al Stockmeier
Originally from LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Al came to Tampa Bay from Vero Beach in 1960 and first worked at WSUN at their studios on the Million Dollar Pier. He then went to WLCY on Gandy Boulevard and was a host of the Open Mike call-in talk show.
Al passed away in 2004 at the age of 86.
