Dave 'Flash' Morgan

Dave 'Flash' Morgan (David Sizemore) grew up in Tampa at a time when the legendary Q105 was at its peak with “The Q Morning Zoo,” Mason Dixon, and his mentor, Jon “RockNRoll” Anthony.

His first paying radio gig was working for Anthony at Oldies 106 in Sarasota, and it was Anthony who got him in the door at the Q during the period the station programmed a country format in the 90’s. However, his journey didn’t happen over night. It progressed from skating rink DJ as a teen, to nightclubs, and then radio.

In 2002, a format swap between Q105 Country and Oldies U-92 resulted in Morgan being separated from the Q and, instead, jocking for Outlaw 92.5. With the popularity of the Internet, he also stayed busy hosting a biker broadcast called “The Rockin’ Roadshow,” karaoke nights around town, and doing a local cable TV show called “Born To Ride.”

In 2012, after a seven-year gap between traditional radio jobs, Scott Walker, Q105′s program director, brought Dave back to host its  “Saturday Night Dance Party.” He also hosted afternoon drive before moving to weeknights in October 2017.
