Mark Sebastian

Mark’s parents were both radio people, so it’s no surprise he followed in their footsteps.  He worked at WMAM, his dad's station in Marinette, Wisconsin and moved up to major stations like Chicago’s WLS AM & FM and B96 WBBM-FM, Z100 in New York, and Cincinnati’s Q102 (1975-84 and 1988-94), where he was best known for locking himself” in the studio and playing Billy Squier’s “Everybody Wants You” for hours in 1982.

The Menominee, Michigan native also pulled stints in Boston, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Buffalo, Orlando’s WLOF (1973-74), and Tampa Bay’s 100.7 Kiss FM WAKS (1995-2002).

In 2002, Sabo, as he was called, left air work to do full time production for himself and Clear Channel. During his day, he was irreverent and outrageous, signing off many of his shows by declaring, “And remember that I, Mark Sebastian, want to see you completely naked.” Strong stuff for the 80’s.
