Ron Michaels

Ron (nicknamed “Big Rig”) is from New Albany, Indiana. Since 1990, when he first joined 98 Rock WXTB, he’s worked about every shift at the station at one time or another – overnights (1991-1997), evenings (1997-2000), afternoons (2000-2004), middays (2004), and even mornings briefly in 2005.

Today (2013), Michaels holds down the midday slot and is the last remaining member of 98 Rock’s original air staff of Tommy “Sea Bass” Miske (mornings), Ted “Ted Kamikaze” Cannorazzi (middays), Scott Legere (afternoons), Austin Keyes (evenings), and Kelli Kasey.
