Mike Jennings

Mike received his first big break in 1993, interning in production and reporting high school football scores on Mix 96 WMTX.  He was eventually tabbed to jock weekends and produce Mason Dixon’s Top 25 Countdown, before moving on to do weeknights at 100.7 Kiss-FM WAKS and nights for The New U92 WYUU.

Beginning in 2001, he was on the move, first to Grand Rapids, Michigan to host nights (and later become music director) for 107.3 WODJ, and then to Cedar Rapids, Iowa as morning host and Webmaster at 104.5 KDAT. From there, it was back to Michigan and the morning chores at Cool 101, Kalamazoo's oldies station, and then on to Lansing as morning host at 101-7 Mike-FM, nights on 94.1 WVIC, and finally Q106, WVIC's sister station.

Today (2013), Mike is back in the Sunshine State and lives in Tamarac. Since 1995, he’s owned Mike Jennings Communications, a voice-over company and mobile DJ service. He’s a graduate of the University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College (where he helped put student run Hawk Radio on-the-air), and Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan.
