Craig Kopp
Craig has spent the majority of his broadcasting career in Ohio. After graduating from Bowling Green State University in 1974 with a BA in American history and a minor in journalism, he immediately went into radio journalism in nearby Toledo.
From there it was on to Cincinnati to head up the award-winning newsroom at WEBN, a rock station. While in the Queen City, he co-hosted a current events talk show and wrote movie reviews and features for the Cincinnati Post and three area television stations, and ended his career there as news director of Northern Kentucky University’s public radio station WNKU.
In June 2011, the opportunity to work at a growing and dedicated public radio newsroom brought the veteran broadcaster and writer to Tampa Bay’s WUSF, where he anchored the NPR program “All Things Considered” weekday afternoons.
WMNF, Tampa’s community radio station, hired Craig as its new general manager in February 2015 after former GM Sydney White was let go. In addition to his managerial duties, he hosts the program “Everyday Ethics’ on the station.
