Chuck Alton

Chuck was still in high school when he began his broadcasting career at St. Pete Beach’s WILZ in the early 60's. Following graduation, he attended the University of Florida and earned spending cash working for Gainesville’s WGGG. In 1968, he returned to Tampa Bay and made stops to do news and other air work at WSUN, WDAE, WCWR, and WFSO (as 'Swingin' Ceasir').

Around 1972, Alton moved to an all-news station in Phoenix, built studios to record commercials for ad agencies, and served as station manager for a local radio outlet for a time. After a move to Los Angeles to work with Radio Arts Syndication, he was tapped to executive produce 1985’s 17-hour worldwide “Live Aid” concert.

Today (2012), Chuck is president and executive producer of TeleVista Media, Inc. in Tucson, and station manager for Bisbee-based news outlet Cochise TV.
