Vinnie Heiser
Vinnie co-hosted “Small World” with Earl Wood weekday mornings on Radio 62 WSUN in the early to mid 60’s. After the City of St. Petersburg sold the station in 1966, he joined the First National Bank as community relations director and, by the early 70’s, had become promotions director for the Sarasota County Chamber of Commerce. Late in the decade, he was marketing director of Robart’s Arena and went on to serve as director of the city’s Municipal Auditorium in the 80’s.
Heiser, a resident of Sarasota, later moved to Bellevue, WA and passed away in 1998 at the age of 83.
