Jeff Mufson

Jeff was born and raised in Miami Beach and graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School in 1977. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Art degree at the University Of South Florida in 1983 and worked shifts as a deejay for WBUL, the campus radio station. That experience led him to serve three years as an announcer at Zephyrhills’ WPAS-AM 1400 from 1990 to 1993 where he played all-request Top 40 music for the local kids on a late-night weekend ensemble show called, "Radical Radio Z-14."

In 2000, after 13 years as a darkroom technician, he finally realized that deejaying was his true love and decided to pursue it full time as a mobile deejay. Since then, he’s graduated from The Florida Academy of Mobile Entertainment (2006), and today (2010) works for Jemstar Entertainment Mobile Disc Jockey Service in Tampa. He’s also on the board of directors of the American Disc Jockey Association of Tampa Bay.
