Duff Thomas

Duffield “Duff” Thomas co-anchored AM-570 WTKN's morning news block (“The Ed Hartley-Duff Thomas Rush Hour Report”) for two years (1988-90) before moving on to help put Sportsradio 910 WFNS on the air.

His radio career, which began in the early 1960’s at WFAX in Falls Church, Virginia, included covering former Presidents Johnson, Nixon and Carter while working for United Press International from 1965 to 1968, ABC News from 1968 to 1973 and the Mutual Radio Network from 1974 to 1980.

The veteran radio news journalist suffered an aneurysm in 1991 and passed away in Arlington, Virginia at the age of 57.
