Olivia Fox

Olivia joined Clearwater’s The Beat WBTP about a year after leaving her spot as co-host of the nationally syndicated “Russ Parr Morning Show with Olivia Fox,” heard weekdays by more than 3.2 million listeners in 45 U.S. cities. It was during her six-year run (1996-2002) on the show that the St. Louis, MO native and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale graduate was dubbed “The Queen of Telling It Like It Is.”

After giving birth to her daughter in 2003, she hosted her own morning show for two years on WBTP, Tampa Bay’s new Clear Channel urban FM, beginning in 2004. Three years later, she returned to the DC market to host a late night show, “Out of the Box with Olivia Fox,” on 93.9 WKYS, before transitioning to mid-days on sister station Majic 102.3 in early 2008.

Fox is a past winner of the #1 Radio Personality of the Year award from various industry publications and, by virtue of her work on the DC-originated Parr show, #1 Morning Show award by Washingtonian Magazine. Her mass appeal and versatility has brought her a large and diverse listening audience from top 40, adult and urban contemporary, news/talk, and hip-hop radio formats.
