Bill Campbell
Detroit native Bill Campbell started his Tampa Bay radio career in 1972 at WDAE and eventually became its program director. From there, he went to WOJC (formerly WFLA-FM) and, in 1983, WSUN where he worked for more than ten years as production director and deejay. He also put in time with WWRM and WQYK.
At the time of his death in 1995 at the age of 55, he was working weekends at 101 WUSA.
