Who's Who at WONN

John Taylor

John was Program Director at WONN in the mid to late 1950’s and did a one-hour morning show with his wife called Time with the Taylors. In the 1960’s, he worked at WGTO at Cypress Gardens doing news, traffic, and some deejay work, and in the 1970’s and early 1980’s, he was Operations Manager of WVFM in Lakeland.

In 1982 John returned to WONN and worked in news until his death in 1984.
