WCOF - A History
WCOF-FM 107.3 St. Petersburg – When Warm 107 WWRM shifted its dial position to 94.9 in 1993, Cox Radio launched in its place 100,000-watt Coast 107.3 WCOF. It was said to be America’s first station with an all-70’s format. Studios were at 877 Executive Center Drive West in St. Petersburg.
Cox flipped WCOF to soft rock 107.3 The Bay WBBY in 1999.
