Pat started his radio career in the late 70’s at WDAE doing part-time on-air work and news. He was also the driver of the Bill Currie Courtesy Van. Several years later, he accepted an offer from Q105’s Scott Shannon to join the “Q Morning Zoo” and, again, found himself behind the wheel of the Currie van doing morning and afternoon traffic reports.
In 1992, he became Q105’s promotions director until CBS bought the station from Clear Channel in 1999. Then, for the next 11+ years, he headed up the promotions department for the Walt Disney Company’s Radio Disney WWMI AM-1380 in St. Petersburg.
Although Pat left the Disney operation in September 2010, he continues to deejay for parties and special events today (2011).
