WGES - A History
WGES-AM 680 St. Petersburg – In October 2006, ZGS Communications flipped its Spanish Rhumba 680 WRMD to Spanish Christian GEnesiS 680-AM WGES – the home to Spanish language broadcasts of Tampa Bay Rays baseball.
WGES’ offices and studios today (2010) are at 2005 Pan Am Circle in Tampa. Its non-directional signal (690 watts daytime, and 125 watts at night) is transmitted from a single tower off San Martin Boulevard NE in St. Petersburg.
