Lorie Marx
Lorie (real name: Loris Duncan) joined WPCV and WONN in 1994 as Assistant Production Director and later was promoted to Production Director. She was responsible for all commercial copy for the two stations. Lorie also hosted WPCV’s weekly Sunday night Classics Show.
In the spring of 1997 she became the mid-day announcer for Hall Communications’ new WWRZ 98.3 FM, The Rose, but had to resign in November of 1998 because of health problems which were diagnosed as Lupus.
Lorie passed away in May of 1999.
