Brian decided early on that his career path was going to be a fun one, that he wasn't going to be miserable in a regular 9-to-5 job that he hated. He was 15 years old at the time he got his first internship answering request lines for The Power Pig WFLZ in 1990. His first on-air gig was a year later doing weekend work for St. Pete’s Star 16 WRXB (the only white guy on an all African-American staff). In 1993, following a yearlong stay jocking at a couple Tuscaloosa, AL stations, he returned to WRXB to do mornings.
1995 found the Largo High School grad working nights at Oldies 106 WSRZ in Sarasota, as well as OM chores for sister station WSPB. Additionally, he did weekends at WTMP and oldies outlet U92 WYUU. That same year, he became a traffic reporter for Metro Traffic, and then Clear Channel’s Total Traffic (Airwatch America) in 1999. In 2001, he added weekends on 93.3 WFLZ.
Brian left Tampa Bay in 2005 for Fly 92.1 WFFY in Ft. Walton Beach as its APD/afternoon guy. Today (2014), he’s the night man and APD at WSNX in Grand Rapids, MI where he also does voice tracking for other Clear Channel stations.
