Gus Quintero

Gus started in radio as a teenager and, over the years, put in time with a number of Tampa stations, including WSOL, WYOU, WTYM, and WQBN.

In the 1980’s, when the FCC granted WQBN permission to remain on the air after sunset, he was the station’s first nighttime deejay. His resume also reveals he worked as a color commentator for Spanish broadcasts of Tampa Bay Bucs and Tampa Bay Bandits football broadcasts.

Today (2012), Gus is retired and lives in Tampa.
